Senior Financial Analyst

Salary Range: $58,682.00 - $88,023.00 Per Year
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

PURPOSE 

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible preparation of financial analysis schedules of actual vs. budget variances for assigned programs, preparing and submitting costs reports, ongoing financial analysis of contracts and programs, maintenance and monitoring of staffing of programs, and monthly review of financials for accuracy and trend analysis, and revenue journal entries.

 TASKS 

  1. Prepare detailed annual financial budget and monthly financial forecasts.
  2. Provide ongoing financial analysis of contracts and programs in conjunction with Division Directors and Unit Managers.
  3. Prepare monthly review of financials for accuracy and trends to include preparation, entry and submission of revenue journal entries in the general ledger.
  4. Prepare, enter, submit and reconcile budgets for programs annually and on an ongoing basis.   Maintain and monitor staffing of programs in relation to position control, financials and budget.
  5. Prepare and submit cost reports on a quarterly and/or yearly basis as required by funding sources.
  6. Prepare and submit invoices, FSR’s and budget revisions to funding sources.
  7. Other duties as assigned.

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
  2. Eight years’ experience in budget, financial analysis, project management and cost accounting, analyzing fiscal management information, management problems, developing and presenting alternative solutions.
  3. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point and databases.
  4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills to provide direction to Program Directors to achieve positive financial outcomes.
  5. Must maintain required credentials and mandatory training requirements to ensure compliance with all State regulations and CHCS policies.
  6. Must maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage, be able to travel as needed, and be able to meet on a consistent basis the driving record requirements of the company’s auto insurance carrier if you drive your vehicle during company business.
  7. Must be able to meet the physical requirements to complete SAMA and CPR training including lifting up to 12 lbs. and supporting up to 55 lbs.; bending, stooping and getting on and off the floor without assistance.

  1. Certified Management Accountant and/or Certified Public Accountant
  2. Financial experience in a health care environment

Compensation Package
