Salary Range: $65,723.00 - $98,585.00 Per Year
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

GENERAL SUMMARY 

Determines consumers’ eligibility for Early Childhood Interventions (ECI) services providing direct occupational therapy services to children ages 0-3 in both home and community settings who qualify.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

MINIMUM ENTRANCE QUALIFICATIONS 

Education and Experience

  •  Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy and three (3) years of experience providing pediatric occupational therapy services. Additional qualifying experience or completion of coursework at an accredited college or university in a job related field, may substitute on a year-for-year basis for one year of the required experience or education.

Licenses or Certifications

  •  Registered by the American Occupational Therapy Association

SUPERVISION

  •  Job has no responsibility for the direction or supervision of others.

  •  Requirements of Medicaid and other funding resources
  •  Electronic Medical Record system
  •  Child growth/development models
  •  Center for Health Care Services Safety Administrative Directives
  •  Applicable software applications
  •  Modern office procedures, methods and computer equipment

Skill in:

  •  Organization and time management
  •  Performing a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature
  •  Performing basic mathematical functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and ratios

Ability to:

  •  Make recommendations based on results of evaluations and assessments  
  •  Effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing
  •  Establish and maintain effective working relationships
  •  Maintain accurate and complete records
  •  Meet schedules and deadlines of the work
  •  Understand and carry out oral and written directions
  •  Accurately organize and maintain paper documents and electronic files
  •  Maintain the confidentiality of information and professional boundaries

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  •  The position involves light physical demands, such as exerting up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 lbs. of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.


Compensation Package

Salary Range $65,723.00  – $98,585.00  Per Year
