Senior Contract Monitor

Salary Range: $52,394.00 - $78,591.00 Per Year
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm

GENERAL SUMMARY

   

Under general supervision, work involves monitoring revenue and expense contracts and tracking related tasks (metrics, reports, documentations, committees, etc.) to be implemented throughout agency; providing consultative services and technical assistance to program staff as well as external contractors; managing communication from and to regulatory agencies, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment; working with all divisions and advising management team in regards to task implementation and reporting deadlines

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitoring compliance with revenue and expense contracts performance and reporting requirements ?

Providing consultative services to plan, implement, and monitor the operational and reporting aspects of revenue and expense contracts?

Participating in and conducts reviews to determine compliance to regulatory guidelines policies, and procedures  

Providing technical assistance on program services.?

Working with center-wide staff to include analyzing operations, observing activities, making on-site visits, and examining records ?

Assisting in planning and developing educational and training programs; and acting as liaison with regulatory/funding agencies ?

Studying and analyzing operations and problems and preparing reports of findings and recommendations using centerís Quality Improvement methodologies

Recommending and coordinating activities to produce a more effective program(s)  

Developing policy and procedure manuals

Preparing justifications for and assisting in implementing procedural and policy changes

Investigating allegations of policy and procedure violations and documenting findings 

Conducting quality assurance reviews in support of other staff; in cooperation with cross functional teams ?

Preparing and assisting in the preparation of administrative reports, studies, and specialized research projects ?

Working with program staff in determining trends and resolving technical problems

Performing a variety of marginal duties not listed, to be determined and assigned as needed

Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM ENTRANCE QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience

Bachelorís degree from a four (4) year accredited university

Three (3) years increasingly responsible experience in contract management, analysis, or compliance.

Licenses or Certifications

None

Other Requirements?

Must maintain a valid driverís license and automobile insurance coverage, be able to travel as needed, and be able to meet on a consistent basis the driving record requirements of the Companyís auto insurance carrier if you drive your vehicle during company business

Must maintain required credentials and mandatory training requirements to ensure compliance with all State regulations and CHCS policies

   

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bilingual (English / Spanish)

Administrative experience engaged in diverse administrative and clinical activities

Healthcare experience

Risk management experience?

Knowledge of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission system, especially behavioral health, substance abuse, and/or IDD.

Experience providing training

SUPERVISION?

Work requires providing guidance and the potential to oversee another employee. This position may oversee work quality, training, instructing, and work assignments.

Compensation Package
