Clinic Trainer

Department: 425 - ABH Admin
Location: San Antonio, TX
Work Schedule: Mon - Fri; 8:30am - 5:30pm

The Clinic Trainer will provide clinical and administrative training for direct clinical staff, provide direct services and complete associated documentation for the consumer and program.


  1. Provide clinical/administrative training to direct clinical staff on all aspects of RDM and Crisis services
  2. Ensure clinical documentation is submitted in accordance with Center standards, and meets all designated requirements 
  3. Com Provide direct clinical services, assessments and develop treatment plan for consumers as needed ply with and participate in Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement processes 
  4. Other duties as assigned


  1. Bachelorís degree in Social Work, Psychology, and Counseling or in a related behavioral health field 
  2. Minimum 2 years experience working in the mental health field - (Additional work experience and work toward graduate degree may be substituted at the discretion of the hiring supervisor) 
  3. Proficiency with standard Microsoft Office software and system databases        
  4. Must maintain required credentials and mandatory training requirements to ensure compliance with all State regulations and CHCS policies
  5. Must maintain a valid driverís license and automobile insurance coverage, be able to travel as needed, and be able to meet on a consistent basis the driving record requirements of the Companyís auto insurance carrier if you drive your vehicle during company business 
  6. Must be able to meet the physical requirements to complete SAMA and CPR training including lifting up to 12 lbs. and supporting up to 55 lbs.; bending, stooping and getting on and off the floor without assistance.


1.     Masterís degree in Social Work, Psychology, and Counseling or in a related behavioral health field

2.     2+ years of work experience with mental health services           

3.     Previous clinical training experience

4.     Previous experience as a QMHP-CS
