Jr Programmer - CCBHC

Department: 4000 - CCBHC
Location: San Antonio, TX
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

PURPOSE

The CCBHC Jr. Programmer will develop, design, test, and support in-house applications and data warehouse

TASKS:

  1. Assist CCBHC Data Scientist to collect data and develop predictive analytics programs, health registries and population health management tools.  
  2. Plan, develop, launch, and support efficient information systems and operations systems in support of core organizational and business functions on primary assigned systems        
  3. Apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve systems issues in conjunction with key users and process owners, in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments on primary assigned systems outlined below            
  4. Maintain or improve upon in-house applications and reports
  5. Assist in migration of data systems as new or updated technology becomes available
  6. Assist in data imports and data entry 
  7. Must maintain required credentials and mandatory training requirements to ensure compliance with all State regulations and CHCS policies
  8. Other duties as assigned

 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelorís Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
  2. Experience or Coursework with Microsoft SQL SERVER (T-SQL, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS)  
  3. Experience or Coursework with Microsoft programming languages (Java, HTML, CSS, VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET, MVC) 
  4. Experience with basic project life cycle methodology 
  5. Four (4) yearsí programmer experience (education may substitute for experience)
  6. Must maintain required credentials and mandatory training requirements to ensure compliance with all State regulations and CHCS policies
  7. Must maintain a valid driverís license and automobile insurance coverage, be able to travel as needed, and be able to meet on a consistent basis the driving record requirements of the Companyís auto insurance carrier if you drive your vehicle during company business 
  8. Must be able to meet the physical requirements to complete SAMA and CPR training including lifting up to 12 lbs. and supporting up to 55 lbs.; bending, stooping and getting on and off the floor without assistance.
 
PREFERRED
  1. Experience working in a healthcare environment
  2. Experience with or knowledge of well-ness oriented trauma-informed care
